A photo of an abandoned theatre was recently shared on social media and many people couldn’t stop talking about it.

The photo was shared on Twitter by @desertedpix which simply captioned it:

“Abandoned theatre…”

The abandoned theatre must have accommodated lovers of play from around the world and the probably held one of the best theatrical performances of all time.

In other news, a photo of the oldest mosque in Lagos, Shitta-Bey Mosque, was recently shared on social media by the official Twitter page of the state government.

Sharing the photo on Twitter, @followlasg noted that the mosque, which was built in 1892, is one of the oldest mosques in Nigeria.

In 2013, the mosque was designated as a national monument by the Nigerian Commission for Museums and Monuments.

The mosque, which was founded by Sierra Leonean-born Nigerian, Mohammed Shitta, is considered one of Nigeria’s most important historical legacies.
