Sultana, a housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Naija season 10, has revealed why she chose Islam over Christianity, saying it resonates with her without pressure from her parents.
Growing up in a multi-faith household with a Muslim father from Adamawa State and a Christian mother from Yala, Cross River State, Sultana was exposed to both religions.
She was even baptized as a Catholic with the name Josephine before deciding to practice Islam because it “works best” for her. Sultana disclosed this during a chat with fellow housemate, Zita.
Some fans have praised Sultana for making a personal choice based on conviction, while others shared mixed reactions on social media, highlighting the personal nature of faith journeys.
