Brave Ukrainians Resist As Russia Is Set To Deploy Up to 1,000 More Mercenaries

Russia is planning to bombard Ukraine into submission according to a western intelligence official. This, according to the official, could lead to significant civilian casualties.

Going further, the official claimed the invaders is set to deploy up to 1,000 more mercenaries to the country in coming days and week.

The US has already seen “some indications” that Russian mercenaries may be involved in Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine “in some places,” a senior defense official said earlier this week, but it wasn’t clear exactly where or in what numbers, CNN had reported.

Now a US official tells CNN that Russia is planning to deploy up to 1,000 more mercenaries in the near future.

The Nigerian government is set to evacuate the first set of Nigerians caught up in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission disclosed that the evacuation would commence once the aircraft dispatched by Airpeace lands in Warsaw in a few hours.

According to the chairman of the commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, she is anxiously awaiting the first evacuation of Nigerians from Poland.

The minister admitted that the federal government will abide by and adopt measures imposed on the country in line with the provisions of the United Nations Resolution.
