Nigeria prepares for Faye’s visit

Faye, 44, the youngest president in Senegalese history, secured victory in a delayed presidential election in April, garnering over 54% of the votes.

He is the fifth and current president of Senegal, sworn in on April 2, 2024.

According to Dada Olusegun, the State House was already buzzing with excitement about Faye’s visit.

The presidential aide tweeted:

“The Presidential Villa, Abuja, is agog ahead of the courtesy visit of the President of the Republic of Senegal, H.E Bassirou Diomaye Faye to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House.”

Dada added:

“Broom boys link up”

Tinubu’s aide also shared a video clip of the arrangements already made with the state house adorned with both Senegal and Nigerian flag decorations.
