President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, December 7, witnessed the signing of agreement between the federal government and Abia government on the establishment of Enyimba Economic City in the state.
Speaking at the event held at council chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, President Buhari expressed the hope that the Economic City, when completed, would create job opportunities for a cross section of Nigerians, News Agency of Nigeria reports.

The president assured that his administration would continue to promote and implement policies aimed at transforming the nation’s economy.
He said that the Federal Government would continue to encourage state governments interested in promoting viable economic ventures meant to create employment opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths.
He congratulated the people and government of Abia for the new Economic City.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had also reported that the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO), south-west chapter, pledged to deliver massive votes for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

The group gave the pledge during the official inauguration of the chapter held at Premier Hotel, Ibadan, on Friday, December 7.
