Popular Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has caused a stir on social media after she mourned her late colleague, Odonwodo Obumneme Pope aka Jnr Pope strangely.
Recall that on April 10, 2024, Jnr Pope died by drowning alongside other crew members after their boat capsized while returning from a movie location.
More than a week after his demise, Destiny Etiko took to her official Instagram page to speak on her colleague’s death and her method raised questions.
The actress shared a series of sultry photos of herself on her Instagram page as she showcased her extravagant hairstyle, heavily made-up face, and long fingernails. Destiny then accompanied the snaps with a caption about Jnr Pope.

According to the movie star, her late colleague would never be forgotten and he should know that he was truly loved. She wrote in part:
“You’ll never be forgotten JP. As long as we are living We’ll carry you with us safely tucked within our hearts. Your light will always shine; A glowing ember never stilled, Throughout the end of time. No matter what the future brings, Or what may lie ahead, We know that you will walk with us Along the path we tread. REST ON LEGEND ✨ be at peace And let your soul fly free. Destiny Etiko reacts to death prophecy
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Destiny Etiko took to social media to react to prophecies of her death.
Recall that shortly after the demise of her colleague, Jnr Pope, a Ghanaian seer Karma President and others went online to claim that someone was planning to poison Etiko and that she wouldn’t live a long life.
The Nollywood star went live on social media to break her silence on the negative prophecies she had received. Etiko, who appeared to be very emotional, made it clear that she wasn’t afraid.
