Two trucks containing 3,500 cartons of rice, sugar, oil, salt, and pasta were said to have been allocated to Gombe.

It was gathered that the contents of one truck were successfully distributed while the youth intercepted and emptied the contents of the second truck.

There are rumours that looting was sabotaged by those who were not carried along in the distribution exercise which earlier took place at the state All Progressive Congress (APC) Secretariat.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Bauchi Central Senator Abdul Ningi came under criticism for sharing ₦1,000 note to members of his constituents in a viral video.

The Bauchi senator’s video was shared by one Ayekooto, which knocked the state governor’s son, and former Jigawa governor Sule Lamido, who criticised Seyi Tinubu for sharing Ramadan food in the north.

Recall that Senator Ningi once made headlines when he became the first senator to be suspended under Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s leadership.

Legit.ng also reported that Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto state attracted reactions from Nigerians after naming a road after Seyi Tinubu.

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar took to social media to share pictures of the road on Saturday, June 8.

Abubakar described the governor as a clown over the move, but some Nigerians reacted differently.

“Ambition of Seyi Tinubu Would Likely Suffer”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Seyi Tinubu continued to generate reactions from concerned Nigerians, with the recent endorsement of him to be the next Lagos state governor.

Bisi Afolabi, a legal practitioner, in an exclusive interview with Legit.ng maintained that Seyi Tinubu has the right to contest, and those endorsing him are still within the frame of the law.

However, Afolabi posited that the governorship ambition of Seyi Tinubu may suffer the same fate as that of Adetokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu, the first daughter of late Obafemi Awolowo.
