“El-Rufai is Gone”: Former Kaduna Governor Makes Cryptic Prophecy About 2027 Election

Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna, has replied to a critic on social media who claimed that he has been silenced and can no longer be outspoken.

The social media user identified as Eureka claimed that the former governor was finished and could no longer comment on national issues, as he was known to be outspoken. He alleged that El-Rufai now hide behind the “ink” of other critics.

“El-Rufai is gone. He is finished politically. He now hides behind other people’s ink to write and their mouths to talk. The big-mouthed Elrufail can’t talk anymore.”

How El-Rufai replied to social media critics

Responding to the tweet, the former governor, who has become a major critic of President Bola Tinubu since he dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), vowed that Eureka will eat his words after the 2027 election.

El-Rufai noted that the social media user should save his tweet for March 1, 2027, when he would be speaking on the outcome of the next presidential election. His tweet reads:

“In your dreams…….when the time comes for me to speak, you will eat your words…..save this tweet, and check on 1st March, 2027 in sha Allah.”

APC replies El-Rufai’s criticism

Legit.ng earlier reported that the APC has expressed confidence that Nigerians will again vote for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Felix Morka, the spokesperson of the party, claimed while responding to the recent criticism of the president by former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

Morka explained that El-Rufai and his cronies in the coalition adopted ADC because they did not have a better alternative to President Tinubu’s bold economic policies.
