Leicetser’s Victor Kristiansen scored an own goal late in the first half before Garanahco sealed the three points.

After receiving a pass from Fernandes, Garnacho fired a spectacular shot into the top corner to secure the victory.

Despite the comfortable win, the Red Devils remain 13th in the Premier League with 15 points after 11 games. The good news is they are four points from the top four.

New boss this week and will be in the dugout against Ipswich Town after the international break.

Why Garnacho refused to celebrate

Garnacho refused to celebrate his sensational goal late in the second half, and Fernandes explained the reason why.

“Garnacho scored a banger but didn’t celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost faith from some fans. I told him people will always moan but lots of people like you and enjoy what you do,” he said via Sportbible.

“I told him to celebrate, it was something special. He is a special player, we have difference makers. They are the ones who win us games. We want them to score every game but that isn’t going to happen.”

The Argentine winger has been criticized in the last few days for unconvincing performances. The 20-year-old has seven goals and four assists in 18 appearances this season.

Garnacho shuts down fan
