Public affairs analyst and convener of the Concerned Nigerians Group, Deji Adeyanju, has slammed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for submitting 48 ministerial nominees to the Nigerian Senate for screening and confirmation.
Adeyanju said the list of 48 ministers is outrageous and President Tinubu “just came to share food for the boys”
He stated this via his Twitter handle @adeyanjudeji on Monday, August 7.
He recalled that President Tinubu asked Nigerians to make sacrifices after removing fuel subsidies and Tinubu still went ahead and nominated 48 ministers

“48 ministers is outrageous. Tinubu just came to share food for the boys. And he was saying the other day that people should make sacrifice after removing fuel subsidy.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that public affairs analyst and convener of the Concerned Nigerians Group, Deji Adeyanju, has revealed who President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should appoint as minister for science and technology among his 48 nominees.
Adeyanju said Bosun Tijani is the right man to fill the science and technology ministry.
He stated this on Sunday, August 6, adding that President Tinubu got the appointment of Tijani right and spot on.

Prominent lawyer Inibehe Effiong has tackled President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the 48 ministerial nominees he sent to the Nigerian Senate for screening and confirmation.
Effiong said 48 ministerial nominations is a sign that President Tinubu is not willing to do the right things.
In an exclusive chat with Legit.ng via telephone, he said the move shows the President is not sincere with Nigerians.
President Tinubu sets new record with second batch of ministerial nominees
Legit.ng also reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu set a new record since the return of democracy in 1999 with the submission of his second batch of ministerial nominees to the Nigerian Senate on Wednesday, August 2.
Tinubu sent additional 19 ministerial nominees to the Senate after the initial 28-man nomination he submitted on Thursday, July 27, making a total of 47 nominees.
