The 12th edition of the Gospel music concert tagged, ‘Jamming for Jesus’ Concert which took place on February 8, 2025, in Ajegunle, Lagos was more than just a concert. The event, organized by gospel singer Olufunmi Adebayo, was a platform for evangelism, charity, and community support.
The concert featured renowned gospel artists, including Righteous Man, Ifeanyi Godwin, and Rev. Stephen Adewale, among others. Their performances filled the air with praise and worship, inspiring attendees to reflect on their faith.
Beyond the music, the event included a free medical outreach, where over 500 people were screened for high blood pressure and diabetes. Those with severe health conditions were referred to hospitals for further treatment. Food distribution was also a significant part of the event, with residents of Ajegunle receiving essential food items, regardless of their religious background.
A touching testimony came from Tinuike Onofowokan, who had been struggling with a severe leg condition. Olufunmi Adebayo covered her N2 million medical expenses, and Tinuike expressed her gratitude, saying, “People going through difficulties should not lose hope; help is always near.”
The event coincided with Olufunmi Adebayo’s 60th birthday, and she addressed the audience via a live video call, expressing her appreciation and encouraging attendees to remain steadfast in their faith.
Olufunmi Adebayo’s passion for service extends beyond ‘Jamming for Jesus.’ She is also the founder of the Olufunmi Adebayo Age Care Charity Organization, which supports the elderly. She emphasized the need to care for older people, urging families to prioritize their well-being.
