Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, is mourning the death of one Hajiya Lubabatu who died in a ghastly motor accident on her way to Kaduna from Abuja.
Sani said the deceased died while preparing for her daughter’s this Saturday, September 2.

Woman dies few days before daughter’s wedding
In a tweet shared via his page @ShehuSani, he explained that the tragic incident happened when one of the tyres of the deceased burst while in transit.

“Inna lillahi wainna Illayhir rajiun.Hajiya Lubabatu left Abuja to Kaduna yesterday morning and died in a ghastly motor accident when one of the tyres of her car bursted. She died while preparing for the wedding of her daughter this coming Saturday.She has since been buried according to Islamic rites. May Allah granther Aljanna firdausi. My deepest condolences to the family of Alhaji Bala Kankanba.”
Bus conveying Nasarawa hajj-bound pilgrims crashes
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that an 18-seater bus conveying Hajj-bound pilgrims crashed around Kara in Keffi Local Government Area in Nasarawa state.
The intending pilgrims were on their way to Abuja for airlifting to Saudi Arabia on Thursday for the 2023 Hajj when the accident occurred.
It was gathered that some occupants sustained injuries.
Female commissioner dies in auto accident
Mrs Dorcas Afeniforo, the Commissioner II at the Kwara State Civil Service Commission, is dead.
Afeniforo who was a former commissioner for Women Affairs and a top loyalist of the governor, died in an auto crash on Saturday, February 4, while returning from a trip to Lagos.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the Kwara state government and sighted by Legit.ng on Monday, February 6.
Wike’s music band leader involved in auto accident
Sensational Bamidele, a Port Harcourt-based gospel artist, who also leads the live band that performs at the project commissioning ceremonies of Governor Nyesom Wike, has survived a ghastly auto crash.
Bamidele was reportedly involved in the accident on the road that Governor Wike commissioned on Thursday, December 1, moments after performing at the ceremony.
