The Eko Hotel and Suites staff, Ngozi Kekwaru, who returned $70k (over N55 million) a customer misplaced has bagged a scholarship for her master’s degree, thanks to Chidi Lloyd, the Chairman of her LGA.
Ngozi, a native of Rundele community in Emuoha Local Government Area (LGA) of Rivers State, disclosed this in a Facebook post on Sunday as she shared a video from her visit to her hometown.

In a ceremony held at the council on August 3, Ngozi was unveiled by the Chairman of Emohua LGA, Chidi Lloyd as the ambassador of the local government.
She also performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a one-kilometer Omkpoba-Mgbere road being executed in Ibaa community of the local government.

In the clip she shared, Ngozi was mobbed by people from her hometown as she graced the occasion in style.
Ngozi shed tears as her community honoured her for her honesty, which has since shot her into the limelight and earned her financial rewards.
An emotional Ngozi encouraged people on Facebook, saying it pays to be good and that people should not think that their good is not noticed.
“…I want to also use this medium to urge each and everyone of us that it pays to do good and don’t think your good is not noticed, God is seeing you. One day you will get your reward,” she wrote.

Eko Hotel staff who returned $70k speaks with singer Davido
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Eko Hotel staff who returned $70k (over N55 million) was gifted N7.9 million by singer Davido.
In the video shared on Twitter, Ngozi was overwhelmed with joy when she interacted with Davido in a video call.
Ngozi was surrounded by friends and well-wishers when the call came in, and she spoke excitedly with the famous singer.
The Eko Hotel staff could not control her joy when she saw and spoke with Davido on the phone. She became very happy as she prayed for Davido, saying whoever wanted to spoil his name would fall. Ngozi said:
“Thank you sir. Jesus Christ. Wait I want to pray. Anyone that try to bring down your name will fall. It is a woman of God that is speaking o!”
