Gov Aiyedatiwa casts his vote
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the ongoing election cast his vote on Saturday morning, November 16.
The governor arrived at his Igbo Ward 4, Obenla community in the Ilaje local government area of the state at about 9 a.m. on Saturday and cast his vote at about 9 minutes past 9.

DJ playing at Gov Aiyedatiwa polling unit
The Ondo governorship election is being followed by some entertainment, as a DJ was spotted playing soft music at a polling unit.
The development happened at Ward 4, Obenla community in the Ilaje local government area of the state, where Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is expected to cast his vote.
Governor Aiyedatiwa is the APC candidate in the election, and he will be battling the people’s vote to defeat his strongest opponent, Agboola Ajayi of the PDP.

The police have stopped travellers from Osun state from having entry into Ondo state.

Aiyedatiwa is the candidate of the APC in the Saturday, November 16, governorship election in Ondo.
Votes in Riverine Area get voting material
Prospective voters in the riverine areas of Ilaje Local Government Area at the jetty are preparing to board a boat to their polling units.
Ilaje LGAs is one of the 18 local governments participating in the ongoing Ondo gubernatorial elections.

INEC assures Ondo voters
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has expressed its readiness for the November 16 governorship election in Ondo state.
INEC National Commissioner Supervising Ondo, Ogun and Osun States, Professor Kunle Ajayi, disclosed this on Channels TV.
“We have done our own work, we are proud of what we have done, and we will not disappoint the people of Ondo state,” he said.
