India, New Delhi- The director-general of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, was the star of the day at the G20 Summit as the United States president, Joe Biden, turned a cameraman to take photos of her and others.
In a post shared on her X (formerly Twitter) page @NOIweala, Okonjo-Iweala said she had great moments discussing WTO reform with President Biden and Jake Sullivan, the National Security Advisor.
She wrote:
“At the G20 Leaders Summit. Some great moments with President Joe Biden @POTUS and also with @JakeSullivan46 National Security Advisor, discussing @WTO reform especially reform of the Dispute Settlement System. President Biden surprised us by taking a photo of me, my staff and @JakeSullivan46”

Okonjo-Iweala reacts to criticism of not posting photo with Tinubu
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Okonjo-Iweala reacted to claims that she deliberately did not post photos of herself and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the New Global Financing Pact summit in Paris, France.
Okonjo-Iweala said she posted the photos in the order in which she received them from her staff or colleagues.
Why Okonjo-Iweala visited President Tinubu
Okonjo-Iweala earlier disclosed the purpose of her visit to President Tinubu at the presidential villa on Tuesday, August 8.
Addressing state house correspondents after the meeting with the president, Okonjo-Iweala said the purpose of her visit was to channel how Nigerians can benefit more from the activities of the WTO.
