State House, Abuja – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will no longer attend the finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) between the Super Eagles and Elephant of Côte d’Ivoire.
Tinubu directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to lead a presidential team to the AFCON finals at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan on Sunday, February 11.

Tinubu, 22 governors to storm Ivory Coast

A source informed that President Tinubu will be in Ivory Coast for the final on Sunday, February 11.
The source said: “President Bola Tinubu is coming here for the final along with his wife (Oluremi Tinubu). In fact, about 22 governors are also expected. So, it will be a full house on Sunday. “Cabinet members and ministers will be here for the game against Ivory Coast as well.”
