A popular Lagos-based musician, Mukaila Senwele, famed for his iconic phrase “Koni Da Fun Ebo To Se Costay,” has passed away.

According to a family source, the artist, who hailed from Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, passed away on Friday night.

His remarkable performances and unique style of entertainment earned him widespread admiration, particularly among socialites.

A family member told ROYAL NEWS that Senwele exhibited no signs of illness before his sudden demise.

“There was no indication of sickness. He spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening,” the source said.

Reports indicate that the family received an emergency call from where Senwele had been staying with fans.

“Upon arrival, my elder brother (name withheld) and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but we lost Mukaila to the cold hands of death,” the source revealed.

He will be buried in accordance with Islamic injunctions this morning, Saturday, January 25, 2025. (Based on reports by Saturday PUNCH and Saturday Tribune)
