Angry Nigerian pastor Apostle Johnson Suleman wants Mikel Arteta sacked after Arsenal’s failure to reach the Europa League final.

Having scored an away goal in Spain in the first leg of their semifinal clash against Villarreal, a goal would have helped the Gunners advance to the final and have a shot at the title.

But all their efforts failed to hit the target with their captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang being denied by the woodworks twice in the meeting.

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International who could not contain his anger expressed his disappointment not just towards the team, but also the owners of the club.

Suleman, 50, also lamented his club losing at home to clubs like Aston Villa and Burnley in his rant on Twitter. He said:

“Arsenal sacked Emery, brought in Arteta. I complained and fellow Gunners as usual said ‘Trust the process’.

“Aston Villa, Burnley, etc, all beat us at home. This is the worst confederacy. Kroenke out, Arteta out. Can’t even type…sad.”

The North London club would have qualified to play Champions League football next season if they won the Europa League but as it stands, they are far from clinching another Europa League spot.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigerian music act Banky W has lamented that his father should be blamed for making the family supporters of Premier League club Arsenal.

His comments are coming in the wake of the Gunner’s Europa League exit after they failed to overturn a 2-1 first-leg loss against Spanish side Villarreal.

Just one goal would have put Mikel Arteta’s team in the final of the competition but they failed to hit the back of the net having missed a lot of chances.
