Popular socialite Sophia Egbueje has confirmed the purchase of a Lamborghini following allegations that music star Burna Boy failed to fulfill a promise to buy her the luxury car.
The development comes after a leaked audio recording surfaced, in which Egbueje accused Burna Boy of engaging in a one-night stand with her and failing to deliver on his alleged commitment to gift her the vehicle.
In response to the controversy, Burna Boy shared a freestyle video on his Instagram Story, seemingly addressing the situation without directly mentioning Egbueje. In the video, he criticised an unnamed individual for making an issue out of his failure to buy the car.
“If you no get me, forget about it. I no buy you Lambo, is that why you are shouting? Where dem dey, I no dey see them at all,” he sang.
On Saturday, Egbueje took to Instagram to showcase a Lamborghini she allegedly bought, stating
“My baby is here, as dem no buy am, I buy am.”
