– Media personality, Uti Nwachukwu, has shared his thoughts on surrogacy
– According to Uti, most religious people are often offended when he talks about surrogacy
– Uti explained that it was better than having a baby mama or entering a forced marriage
– He compared it with the Biblical story of Mary’s conception by the Holy Spirit
Uti Nwachukwu has taken to social media to share yet another unpopular opinion and this time, he talked about surrogacy.
Surrogacy is an arrangement, often supported by a legal agreement, whereby a woman agrees to bear a child for another person or persons, who will become the child’s parent after birth.
Considered an unconventional method, surrogacy isn’t fully accepted in most African societies and this is what Uti addressed in his recent tweet.
According to the media personality/actor questioned why religious people often get upset anytime he broached the topic.
According to him, Mary in the bible was also a surrogate as she took in without getting married nor engaging in physical intimacy.
In his words:
“I still don’t understand why people especially the religious ones, get so vexed when I talk about surrogacy over baby mama or compulsory marriage!!♂️After all wasn’t Mary the Holy Spirit’s surrogate?? Did any of the Trinity Entities marry or get Physical with her?? So wetin Na “

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin, some weeks ago, took to her Instagram page to share the story behind the birth of her new baby. The new mother revealed that she and her husband had opted for surrogacy before they got married.
A medical test, then, revealed that she had no eggs in her womb and she was encouraged to go for a scan. The result of the scan showed that she had a baby growing in her womb already.
