The kingdom lovebirds, who recently found themselves in some sort of paternity controversy, decided to provide scholarships to 50 students at the University of Port Harcourt.

The duo had stormed the University of Port Harcourt for their Overwhelming Victory Concert, where they announced it.
Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed took to the podium to announce that, on behalf of their son, they were awarding 50 Uniport students one-year scholarships.

In a previous report, a Facebook troll, Okoronkwo Ejike, who was named in a recent petition by Nathaniel Bassey, has left people talking over his apology to the gospel singer, his colleague Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed.
Ejike had gone viral on Facebook and other social media platforms with a post of him questioning the paternity of Mercy’s son, Charis.
He claimed the baby looked exactly like Nathaniel Bassey, adding that the child belonged to the singer and no one could tell him otherwise.
Man says he won’t apologise to Mercy Chinwo over paternity controversy
A young man, Butcherbeatz, came up to say he won’t be apologising to Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed, over claims about their newborn’s paternity.
In a new video, Butcherbeatz, who is also an upcoming singer, argued that he didn’t do anything wrong by saying that the little boy resembled the songstress’ colleague Nathaniel Bassey.
The man said he had an opinion, noting that more than 200 million Nigerians could clearly see what he was talking about.
