It is the newest event center everyone is talking about right now. Residents of the area are all excited by the completion and opening of the ultra modern event center. It is called The Paraclete Hall. It is an attractive looking event hall replete with all of the aesthetics the most discerning minds will prefer to settle for. And the owner of this very laudable project is none other than the very calm and industrious, Mrs. Esther Olusola Aliu, who also doubles as the proprietress of The Frontliners School, one of the stand out Nursery & Primary schools in Lagos. The Paraclete Hall and The Frontliners School are situated right beside each other.
The Paraclete Hall was officially opened for business last week Friday, January 26th, 2024. It was a modest affair made up of close family members of Mrs. Esther Aliu and her husband, and several clergies from The Apostolic Church, Nigeria. According to the proud and ecstatic owner of the new event hall, Mrs. Esther Aliu, The Paraclete Hall is a multi purpose hall suitable for different events such as weddings, conferences, church services, meetings, symposia and corporate functions. But perhaps, what stands The Paraclete Hall out from the rest is the lodging/accommodation it offers its clients. Couples who are holding their weddings at The Paraclete Hall will not need to go look for hotel accommodation which would incure additional wedding costs, The Paraclete Hall will conveniently accommodate them and their families who have come to support them on their wedding day. The hall has directly above it, standard ensuites that can match the quality of rooms of most upscale hotels in Lagos.
When asked how the thought of setting up lodging/accommodation facilities in the hall came to her, Mrs. Aliu said, “I love comfort, I always look out for convenience when doing my thing. And of course, I also love doing things with a difference. I wanted a situation where I can make things easy for our clients, particularly wedding couples, so they won’t be thinking of moving to and from the wedding venue to the hotel where they lodged with their close friends and family members.”
No doubt about it, The Paraclete Hall is the perfect venue for all unique and memorable occasions. Whether it is mini concerts or gospel events, the extremely beautifully designed stage makes it a perfect venue. The quality of the lightings, the glittering marbled floor and paintings plus the breathtaking design of the inner roof all together make it a spectacle to behold.
“I have always been one who loves splendour. I love to have quality things around me,” Mrs. Aliu explained. “You know I was into fashion, and indeed, I am still into fashion, so I love beautiful things, I love quality, hence the desire for me to ensure the hall is done oozing quality all round. In fact, I wanted to do a lot more in that place if not for funds, but I thank God for the little we have been able to achieve.”
For residents of the Shasha/Akowonjo axis, these are indeed exciting times as they no longer need to go long distance to hold their parties and events outside of the area. Now they have a stand out event hall located right within their axis and it is one they can be proud of anyday, anytime.
