Ogun state, Ibafo – A 75-year-old woman, Bisi Adewumi, reportedly slumped during a prayer session at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries in the Ibafo area of Ogun state.
Adewumi later lost her life while receiving treatment at a government hospital in Sagamu, The Punch reported.

The state police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, said the head of security, Pastor Ekikere Esiere, attached to the prayer city, located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, reported the incident on Friday, November 3.
It was reported that Esiere said the deceased was rushed to the church clinic for medical attention after she slumped at about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 2.
Adewumi was later referred to the Sagamu General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead while receiving treatment on Friday.
The police PRO said the corpse had been deposited at the hospital morgue.
“No relatives of the deceased had come to claim the body yet. She’s suspected to be a 75-year-old woman. In the meantime, the investigation is still ongoing.”
Man drowns during church beach hangout in Lagos
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a young man identified simply as John lost his life to the cold hands of death during a church beach hangout in Lagos.
The 34-year-old man died after drowning in Elegushi Beach, in Lagos state, on Saturday, October 28, during a church hangout.
The unnamed Ikorodu-based church had organised a picnic for its youths, which the late John was a part of. Concerns grew when the members were about to leave the beach that Saturday afternoon but couldn’t locate him anywhere.
Pastor killed as church collapses in Benue
In other news, a Dunamis church collapsed at the Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, the Benue state capital.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, October 3, left a pastor dead as the building caved in.
According to sources, four individuals, including the pastor, were observing prayers at the church building before the incident happened.
Popular Nigerian pastor found dead in church
There was panic in the Nyanya-Jikwoyi area of Abuja when a popular pastor in the vicinity, Emeka Evans Unaegbu, was found dead in his church.
The clergyman who was conducting a lone vigil the night before was discovered lifeless on Wednesday morning, April 14, on the premises of the church.
