Event Overview & Introductions

Host opens the event and we have a quick intro of the hutters in the space.

Mini-Game

We play a quick family game to lighten up things.

Open Mic (I)

Hutters share performances on any theme they wish. This may feature spoken word poetry, short prosaic performance, live music performance etc.

Meet a Hutter

A 5-10 Minutes break to connect with fellow hutters in the building.

‘Hut’ Discuss

A 10-20 Minutes discuss on a prevalent theme in the creative/social space.

Open Mic (II)

Performances usually on a themed/focused prompt earlier informed by the host.

ABOUT ARTMESH

ARTMESH is held on the First Friday of the month at the American Corner, Ikeja (42, Local Airport Road, Ikeja, Lagos).

We want to build a fun and open environment for writers, storytellers, spoken word artists, poets, and everyone else involved in the creative space.

Whether you are a performer, a lover of art/literature, or a friend to one, we’d love you to join us!

We share our opinions on certain issues that affect creatives in the space.

ArtMesh is gradually growing into a well-recognized and respected creative program with links to many other creative events in and out of Lagos State.
